The Omicron CMGPS is a GPS-based synchronisation unit that is used in conjunction with Omicron CMC test sets (eg, CMC 256-6, CMC 256plus, CMC 356).

The device can be used to start a test on a single CMC unit at a particular time or to precisely synchronise the start of testing on two or more CMC units. A typical application would be testing a differential protection scheme on a power transmission line.
